The Accomplishments of Jesus - What did Jesus of Nazareth accomplish? How did He actually change things? The Scriptures employ a wide variety of idioms to speak of the achievements of Jesus. Each expression tells its own story and applies to your life in its own unique way. Join us as we explore some of the edifying richness of both Testaments. Led by Dr. Paul Raabe. (Continues in Fellowship Hall)

Pastor Tom Baker, host of Law and Gospel heard weekdays at 6 p.m. on KFUO Radio AM 850, will be teaching the September 5, Sunday morning 9:30 a.m. Bible class. The topic? Have you ever had a friend ask why Christianity teaches that we are saved by faith alone when so many passages in the Bible leave the impression that if you don't do good works, you are going to hell? We are going to use a 16th century book written by a non-Lutheran to equip you with an answer you can use in your next conversation about the Christian faith. (September 5 ONLY - Fellowship Hall)
